The Live Your Dream Awards program is built on one simple belief: when we support women and girls in pursuing their goals, we strengthen our entire community. Each step forward is not only a personal achievement but also an inspiration for others.
We are excited to share the story of Alexis, a shining example of what it means to live your dreams. Alexis graduated in 2025 from Fayetteville State University with a degree in Sociology. She has a clear vision for the future — to establish a nonprofit that provides resources and support for pregnant young adults and teens. Recognizing a gap in services, Alexis is determined to create a program that meets this critical need.
Her journey doesn’t stop there. Alexis has been accepted into Tulane University, where she will begin graduate studies in the spring of 2026. This next chapter will provide her with additional tools to expand her vision and bring lasting change to the community.
