Generosity In Action
Soroptimist International of Raleigh, NC is deeply grateful to the donors, sponsors, and community members whose generosity ignites change for women locally. We are pleased to share our 2025-2026 Impact Report, which highlights what this support has made possible.
Education Awards That Change Lives
Since 1987, our all-volunteer club has distributed $144,000 in education awards to deserving women. This past club year alone:
- $16,000 went to ten women through our Live Your Dream Awards, helping cover school, childcare, and living expenses.
- $5,000 went to 13 women with demonstrated financial need through our EmpowerHer Awards.
Members Rolling Up Their Sleeves
Our members also gave their time and energy in service. This past spring, we developed the “My Present, My Future, My Plan” workshops for women at The Salvation Army Center of Hope family shelter. The three workshops shared information and resources on overcoming obstacles, creating SMART goals, and managing stress.
We also continued our hands-on service projects, including:
- Preparing meals for women experiencing homelessness
- Supporting programs that help women prepare for jobs
- Providing period products to girls attending school

Thanks to the support of our donors, we are able to provide education awards, offer workshops, and carry out service projects that build a better future for women and girls.
