On January 10, Soroptimist International of Raleigh, in partnership with Raleigh Brewing Company, hosted a lively and successful Puzzle Swap that welcomed more than 100 puzzle enthusiasts for an afternoon of fun and connection. Attendees swapped puzzles, learned more about our club, and enjoyed a sneak peek at our upcoming speed-puzzling fundraiser, PuzzleMania. The event was organized by PuzzleMania co-chairs Cindy Hopkins and Jennifer Prevatt.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters, three raffle baskets—each valued at over $100—along with a last-minute donation of a puzzle board, raised an impressive $715 in support of our mission to empower women and girls.
We are incredibly grateful for Raleigh Brewing Company’s partnership and hospitality, as well as their generous donations for our Puzzles and Pints raffle basket. Thanks also to Unleashed, the Dog & Cat Store and Guildhall Games for donating to our raffle. We are thankful to the Soroptimist members who helped make this event such a success, from organizing and staffing the swap to donating raffle items and spreading the word.
The excitement didn’t stop there—momentum from the Puzzle Swap has already led to the sale of 20 tables for PuzzleMania, putting us well on our way to a sellout!
Events like this remind us how powerful community connection can be when paired with purpose.
