On September 20, members of Soroptimist International of Raleigh rolled up their sleeves to support fellow nonprofit Dress for Success, an organization dedicated to empowering women by providing professional attire and career development resources.
Eight Soroptimist volunteers spent the afternoon helping at the Dress for Success Boutique Sale, an event that raised $36,000 to continue the organization’s mission of equipping women for success in the workplace and beyond. From organizing racks of clothing to assisting shoppers, our members were proud to lend a hand and contribute to the day’s success.
This service project reflects what Soroptimist is all about — women helping women. By supporting Dress for Success, we not only helped raised vital resources but also strengthened the network of organizations working to uplift women in our community.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to future collaborations that create opportunities, inspire confidence, and empower women to thrive.
