Soroptimist International of Raleigh is proud to partner with organizations making a meaningful difference for women and girls in our community.
In collaboration with the Duke University Baldwin Scholars, Progress Period, the Duke Women’s Center, and WISER clubs, we helped collect period products for women and girls across the Raleigh-Durham area. Access to these essential items remains a barrier for many, impacting school attendance, work, and overall well-being. Together, we donated over $600 in feminine hygiene products, which were then distributed through the North Carolina Diaper Bank to local schools.
We also hosted a Handbag Drive benefiting our community partner, Dress for Success Triangle. With the support of our members, we donated more than 35 handbags to help empower women entering or re-entering the workforce.
Through collaboration and community support, we continue to remove barriers and create opportunities for women and girls to thrive.
