Soroptimist International of Raleigh, a local club of the global volunteer organization Soroptimist® that economically empowers women, awarded four recipients—La’Dasia, Tiffinei, Lyndsay and Shameda—with its Live Your Dream Education and Training Awards for Women. Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
The Raleigh Club grants $2,000 to each local award recipient. One of these awardees is submitted for consideration for a Soroptimist Central East Coast Region award (up to $1,500). Region recipients are then considered for one of two awards ($3,000 and $5,000) from Soroptimist International of the Americas.
