Alisha is pursuing a degree in early childhood education at Western Governors University Online, and will graduate in November 2025.
Alisha is currently working as a Lead Ancillary Teacher at a Christian Montessori School. She is a dedicated wife and mother to an amazing, supportive husband and two beautiful teenagers. Pursuing her passion of becoming Full Lead Teacher for K-1 grades, continuing to build her relationship with Jesus and being all she can be for her family is what drives her.
Alisha survived a difficult childhood, challenging pregnancies, ovarian cancer and other recent serious illnesses. All of this has made her stronger and determined to fulfill her dream of teaching young children and making a difference in their daily lives. Teaching them not only academics but tackling the heart of the child.
Alisha summarized her goal so beautifully: “My children are teenagers now and will soon be chasing their dreams so showing them how I never gave up on mine is extremely important to me.”
