Our Raleigh club has a special program called Live Your Dream Plus. This program connects each Live Your Dream Award recipient with a club member to provide connection and support. We enjoy hearing about our awardees’ successes and achievements – and we love being able to share the updates with our supporters!
We recently caught up with Shanetta, a 2021 Live Your Dream Award recipient. Last year, Shanetta received her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science from Meredith College. Since graduating, she works full-time as the Director of Nutrition Education at The Garden at Spring Forest in Hillsborough. When we first met Shanetta, she was still working towards her bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition, having returned to school after the death of her husband to better support her two young children. Looking at her goals from that time, it’s wonderful to see Shanetta living her dream!
