We’re so pleased to share graduation news from two of our Live Your Dream Award recipients!
2025 LYDA recipient Orrie graduated on May 10 from the Dental Assisting program at Wake Technical Community College. Upon graduation, Orrie completed the required examinations for Radiation Health Safety (RHS), Infection Control Exam (ICE), and General Chairside Assistant (GC) exam. Orrie plans to began working in this field in August 2025. While working, Orrie plans to continue with her education and pursue a degree in the field of Healthcare Management. Alo graduating from Wake Tech this month was Mia, a 2024 LYDA recipient. Mia will start NCCU in the fall to complete her degree in social work. According to her plans from last year, Mia is right on track and we can’t wait to see her continue to reach her dreams.
