Congratulations to Latisha Wooten, center, a 2021 Live Your Dream Award recipient, for being promoted to a testing teacher assistant (with her own office!) at Ligon Magnet Middle School.
The well-deserved promotion recognizes Latisha’s talents, especially working with children with special needs. Her goal is to get her certification to become a special needs teacher. Latisha is also an assistant softball coach at the school.
In August, Latisha organized a school supply drive to fill 30 backpacks (below) for the middle and high school children that she tutors. She reached out to the club for our assistance and we provided over $900 in essential school supplies for the students!
